Do you enjoy helping people?

Becoming a member of the Department is an excellent way to do so.

We are looking for volunteers to join their neighbours in protecting the community. You will be provided with training and skills necessary to excel in this rewarding and challenging endeavor.

Volunteers are issued a pager and could be asked to respond at any time.

There are regular training sessions every Monday at 7pm.

Requirements

To be eligible as a member of the Cranberry Volunteer Fire Department, you must be 19 years of age, have a clear criminal record and be in good physical health. However, if you are between 16-18 years of age and have a parent or guardian's consent you may be eligible to join as a junior member.

Firefighting can often be mentally and physically demanding and you may be in stressful or dangerous conditions.
